Washington, D.C. – Escaped murderer, Richard Lee McNair, has a way with words. He proved it when he convinced a police officer in Ball, Louisiana, last week that he was just out for a jog and the officer let him go. What the officer didn’t know was this casual jogger had just escaped from the Federal Penitentiary in Pollock, Louisiana. McNair is still on the run.

The U.S. Marshals have turned up the heat to put McNair back behind bars by adding him to their 15 Most Wanted fugitive list and offering a $25,000 reward for information leading to his arrest.

Authorities believe McNair, who is serving three life sentences for murder, attempted murder and burglary in North Dakota, escaped after concealing himself in a secret compartment under a pallet of mail bags and was transported on a truck from the prison to a local mail facility, where he broke out from his hiding place and escaped.

Daniel William Hiers, Jr. seemed to be a good cop, a faithful public servant for the city of Charleston, South Carolina. But, he betrayed his badge in the worst way, using it to gain the trust of a single mother with a young daughter, then allegedly molesting the 10-year-old child over a period of months.

On March 31, 2005, the Goose Creek, SC Police Department obtained an arrest warrant for Hiers, alleging that he murdered his wife.
March 26, 2005, Profiled on America’s Most Wanted.
March 15, 2005, Wife found murdered. Last seen driving a red 2005 Chevrolet Aveo, SC Tag 486DEH.
March 9, 2005, Criminal Sexual Conduct With a Minor issued.
January 2005, Hiers resigned from his position as a School Resource Officer and began working for Banks Construction Company.
November 2004, North Charleston SC Police Department charged Hiers with Lewd Acts with a Minor in November of 2004.
Prior to November 2004, Hiers is a former police officer who worked in three different jurisdictions in the state of South Carolina. Hiers has a total of 11 years of police experience.

CAUTION

Jose Gustavo Badillo is wanted for allegedly raping and molesting a minor female over the course of several years, beginning approximately in 1998. On September 1, 2005, the District Court of the 20th Judicial District, State of Oklahoma, issued an arrest warrant after Badillo was charged with first degree rape. Badillo was charged federally on September 19, 2005, with transporting a minor in foreign commerce with intent to engage in sexual activity, and tampering with a federal witness/victim. In addition, on February 23, 2006, United States District Court, Eastern District of Oklahoma, issued an arrest warrant for Badillo relating to a charge of possession of child pornography.
