On January 1, 1996 at approximately 0230 hours, Troopers from the Williston barracks responded to a reported assault in Jericho, Vermont on VT Route 15.
Manchew, of Jericho, Vermont, had punched, kicked and then held a gun to the head of his victim and threatened to kill him.
Manchew was aggressive and assaultive when arrested for the original charge.
