CAUTION

In 2003, Thomas Emil Sliwinski was charged with criminal endangerment for having sex without consent with his young stepdaughter. He pled guilty to this charge and the plea agreement required Sliwinski to attend sex offender treatment. He was also charged with tampering with physical evidence after it was learned that he had destroyed evidence and Sliwinski was convicted of this charge. Sliwinski was given a five-year suspended sentence for both of these convictions.

Sliwinski was later kicked out of his sex offender treatment program. As a result, the Lewis and Clark County Attorney in Montana filed a petition to revoke Sliwinski’s probationary sentences. Sliwinski also failed to register as a sex offender. A hearing regarding the petition was to be held on September 2, 2004, but Sliwinski failed to appear. A warrant for Sliwinski’s arrest was issued on September 2, 2004, by the Montana First Judicial Court, Lewis and Clark County, for revocation of his suspended sentences for the underlying felony offenses of criminal endangerment and tampering with physical evidence. A second local arrest warrant for Sliwinski was issued in the same jurisdiction on September 9, 2004, for bail jumping. On September 13, 2005, a federal arrest warrant charging Sliwinski with unlawful flight to avoid prosecution was issued by the United States District Court, District of Montana, Great Falls, Montana.

At the time the state initiated its prosecution, Sliwinski reportedly practiced polygamy while residing in a remote area between Helena and Great Falls, Montana, where he was “married” to three persons.

Fugitive Darryl Crenshaw Sought in Ex-Girlfriend’s Death

Ashley Peoples was last seen by relatives driving off in a car with her ex-boyfriend, Darryl Crenshaw.

The last time Ashley Peoples’ family says they saw the 22-year-old, she was headed off to work at a car dealership. When she didn’t return home to Enfield, Conn. the next day, her stepfather immediately called police.

What they later learned of Ashely’s fate shocked the entire community.

Authorities discovered that Ashley had, in fact, gone to work that morning of Aug. 8, 2008. Her co-workers say her ex-boyfriend of two months, Darryl Crenshaw, came to see her. They say Crenshaw started an argument with Ashley, and violently shoved her out the door. Cops say, at that point, he left, but he didn’t go far.

Police later learned that after Ashley finished work that day, Crenshaw followed her to an appointment at a local salon. That’s where customers say they saw Crenshaw drag Ashley into his car and punch her in the face.

What’s worse, police learned that after he allegedly killed Ashley, he took another woman on a date to an amusement park.

Neighbors Call Police With Evidence
Ashley was unaware that Crenshaw was out on bail for kidnapping and assault charges on a previous girlfriend.

The news of Ashley’s whereabouts came the following Sunday, three days after her disappearance.

A neighbor called police to say they had seen Crenshaw entering his home with a body over his shoulder. Police immediately went to check Crenshaw’s apartment in Enfield, where they found Ashley laying in Crenshaw’s bed. She had been badly beaten and strangled to death.

What’s worse, police learned that after Crenshaw allegedly killed Ashley, he took another woman on a date to an amusement park.

Police have since charged Crenshaw with Ashley’s murder, but they say he took off before they could arrest him.

Crenshaw was later seen in surveillance video withdrawing $200 from an ATM in Hartford. That was the last anyone saw of him, but it was not the last time anyone would hear from him.

On Monday, Aug. 18, 2008, Hartford Police say Crenshaw called Ashley’s stepfather, Rev. Baskerville, and was crying on the phone. He says Crenshaw was begging for forgiveness.

Police say Crenshaw is dangerous, and has threatened to harm police if caught.

Police say this isn’t the first time Darryl Crenshaw has had a run-in with the law: he is also facing kidnapping and assault charges.

Another of his ex-girlfriends, Savani Jefferson, told police that he choked her when she tried to end their one-year relationship in April. Jefferson told AMW, “I was lucky because I survived”.

She says he then hit her and sped off with her in the vehicle. Savani alleges that Crenshaw later dropped her off in Meriden, Conn., and threatened to shoot her if she told anyone what he had done. Crenshaw was later released from jail after posting $50,000 bail.

At the tender age of nine, Jennifer Short’s life ended with a gunshot wound to the head. Her parents, Mary and Michael, were also murdered approximately a month prior to Jennifer’s death. As August 15, 2008, marks the 6-year anniversary of the Short family’s demise, the FBI continues to seek information regarding these killings.

Jennifer’s parents were found deceased in their Bassett, Henry County, Virginia, home, and Jennifer’s remains were discovered along a stream bed in Stoneville, North Carolina.

Law enforcement officials are seeking the public’s assistance in locating the suspect(s) involved in the murders of Mary, Michael, and their young daughter Jennifer Short.

The FBI is searching for two individuals involved in an intrusion near the Abiquiu Dam in New Mexico. A United States Army Corps of Engineers Park Ranger was shot by one of the suspects while investigating the intrusion. The suspects were seen driving a 1990s model white two-door Ford pickup with tinted windows, chrome wheels, grey-colored bumper, and a single stop under each door (a similar model is pictured above).

REWARD: The FBI is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the individuals involved.

MANSFIELD: Samantha Kegley is getting to be a regular in the News Journal.

Kegley, 23, is being featured as one of the area’s Most Wanted for a fourth time.

“Absconding supervision is her MO (modus operandi),” Ohio Adult Parole Supervisor John Mayer said.

Kegley’s most recent conviction was for failure to appear on a personal recognizance bond. She signed up for terms of her supervision but never reported to her probation officer.
“She makes it hard on herself,” Mayer said.

Kegley is 5 feet, 6 inches and 128 pounds. She has blonde hair and blue eyes.

Authorities also are looking for Robert Blevins and Patrick Thompson. Blevins, 29, was released from prison in July and placed in re-entry court, an intensive program for felony offenders who have been in prison.

“He gets out and does well for awhile; then he stops reporting to his probation officer,” Mayer said.

Blevins is 5 feet, 10 inches and 179 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes. Mayer said Blevins has ties to the area. Thompson, 29, has been on probation since 2006. He had his probation transferred to Galion, where he lives.

“He got in some trouble in April 2007 but was continued on supervision,” Mayer said.

Thompson is 5 feet, 9 inches and 230 pounds. He has brown hair and green eyes.
